French clothing boutique Cotélac revives a previous hardware store on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. The interior was completely demolished creating a large retail area, storeroom, and office on the mezzanine. Waxed Venetian plaster walls contrast with rough pine columns, which support horizontal stainless steel display poles. Internally lit acrylic panels define and light the central space. Poured concrete floors are inlaid with hand-formed terra cotta tiles and natural river stones.

Key Materials: Waxed venetian plaster, Poured concrete, Pine tree trunks, Stainless steel.
